Double date JB

An impromptu JB Trip with le bestie GF & our plus ones. 

Luckily Woodlands had no jam that day.

It was mostly a food trip (we almost food coma'd from it) 

So get ready for tons of food porn pictures!

First Stop: Assam laksa from KSL

THIS IS AWESOME. And sibei shiok. 

I swear its a must-have in JB! 

Noodles are tangy and chewy, and the soup is sour and spicy! 

LOOOOVE!

2nd Stop: Blackball dessert

This is suggested by Sly.

Not a fan of dessert, but this is a pretty famous dessert chain I guess.

The kachang is pretty good.

 

3rd Stop: LokLok

Everyone goes to JB to have Lok Lok.

I don't know of any lok loks in Singapore though. 

Last Stop: Seafood and Zhi Char

Sambal kangkong.

Pork ribs. Yummmm

Deep fried youtiao. Very sinful.

And last but not least, my favourite crab!!!

The salted egg yolk sauce is damn good, I feel like I'm about to drool.

Packed my BF for work in a suitcase.

A very impromptu trip to Xi'an because they last minute rostered me.

Super appreciate that my boy took urgent leave to come along with me!

We had so much to settle, his NS stuff, and work etc.

Pretty stressed beforehand but I'm so glad everything worked out in the end.

Uber long bus ride to see the 8th wonder of the world - Terra Cotta Warriors.

I'm sorry to say I'm not a fan of the cold winter, nor statues. 

And he lost his ticket halfway, we had to stand in the cold for like, 45 mins.
