Maldives!

3D2N Trip to Maldives with K! 

Above - first lunch in Male City.

What a long 4 hours plus flight, plus around 2 hours of ferry to reach our destination.

I was so tired when I reached my island - Maafushi Island.

Room is clean, we had a balcony with a sea view too!

Caught my first sunset in Maldives (:

After which, we had dinner by the sea in a nearby restaurant.

Ordered steak and I asked if it can be done medium well 

and the guy didn't understand and kept asking me if i want 

vegetables, fries, or rice. -__- he repeated it like 3 times and I gave up.

Feels really special to eat on the beach, with your toes in sand 
and also baby crabs walking around you.

He caught a hermit crab and tortured it during dinner. Cruel!!!

The food is terrible, but the view makes up for it.

DAY 2! We signed up for a visit to a picnic island - Fihalhohi Island! 

Its beautiful, just like paradise!

Sometimes I look at the water and the skies and wonder if they are real.

Arrived!! The place is so beautiful, I just wish I can stay there forever.

Went snorkeling at the beach, where I saw many pretty corals and fishes.

And I got cut by a coral because I refuse to wear the flippers. ): 

Its really fun, I saw some cool fishes and even a swordfish!

We found a shady spot with beach chairs and just sat there and chilled for like 6hours? 

Absolutely could do this forever.

 listening to music and talking about life.

Had our wishes put in the bottle.
Guess whos the greedy one. ME! I got 3 wishes. HAHA

Went to the over water villa and its GORGEOUS!

I think its so cool to be able to wake up someday,

 and just jump out of ur villa into the sea and start swimming!

Was starving so we had lunch at a restaurant.

As usual, sand under our feet as we eat.

Ice cream on a hot day is always so good!

I loved the food there! Beef burger with hot sauce.

Chicken pizza.

Played with the swing by one of the beach side.

Saw a bird! It wasn't afraid when I went up close to shoot it.

After we had our island visit, we played games in the games room.

The staff in our resort also came to join us!

Where K got owned badly in pool (billiard).

And I got owned badly in soccer table. ): 

Can't beat the Maldivians.



And not to forget, yummy dinner at our own resort!

Next day took the speedboat back to SG!

Major sad because I super love it there!

 

Just in case anyone is wondering, MALE is the city of MALDIVES.
I have people asking me why is my gender MALE on my boarding pass.
OMGGGGGGGG .
