24th Birthday @ Phuket

Phuket for 24th birthday with S.

Had a major scare because I was the one who booked the plane tickets, and surprisingly I booked his tickets and didn't book my own. (WTF?!) I only realized my mistake only when I tried to check-in, and they told me they didn't have my booking. (PANIC ATTACK MODE.) Plane was due to board in about 15mins and I had no ticket. Rushed like crazy and topped up another $250 to get on the plane. -_- Sigh... valuable lesson learnt, always always check my itinerary before my flight.

Unhappy things aside, we arrived to a happy happy big suite!

Had a nice Ocean Suite Room at Indochine, facing the sea and a big pool + jacuzzi!

Staff decorated the bed with Happy birthday. So touched!

Had some yummy lunch at our resort's restaurant. Food is awesome.

beef PHO!

Must-have Padthai whenever your in Thailand.

Lol, while waiting for our food.

Yummy basket full of yummy things.

Dipped in our pool and its pretty shallow, can't really swim more than 4 metres. lol.

Indochine's signature decorations.

While waiting for shuttle bus to take us to town.

CAMHO!

On the bus to Patong.

Headed to town, Bangla Street where we tried some shooting.
The rifle is damn heavy. Probably 2kg? Can't lift it up more than 2 mins.

Please remind me never to hold a gun for I can not aim for nuts.

Arrived at the beach just in time to catch sunset.

We tried some poses inspired by
Murad Osmann and his gf - Girlfriend Leads BF around the World in Pictures.

Also we tried the other way round - and nope,
now we know why girls should be in the pic and not guys.

He wanna snap a photo with hot bikini chicks in the BG and so I did.

Had wine in our cabana while watching the sea.
Which was such a bliss to just forget the busy life in SG.

Next day's buffet spread. Love it!!

Chatted with the staff and they happened to be from SG, doing internship in Phuket.

So nice to have a bf who knows how to tie hair. :D

We basically did nothing much in Day 2.
Just explored Patong a bit and watched a Ladyboy Caberet show at night.

Dinner at Pan Yaah Thai Restaurant which has one of the
best thai food I ever ate in my life.

The scenary by the restaurant is extraordinary,
it's by the sea where we watched the low and high tides!

Well despite all the fun in Phuket,
I'm definitely not going back there in another 10 years perhaps.
The place, although beautiful, has been too commercialized by many tourists.
It's a lovely trip for me though.

Till next time... Xo
