Ho Chi Minh City / Saigon trip for a short getaway.
Checked in our hotel room at Paradise Saigon Boutique.
Decent 4 star room. No complaints.
Walked near Ben Thanh Market near our hotel to find some good eats.
Spotted this noodle place whereby many locals sat on stools and ate by the roadside.
Had one in soup and one in dry. It was pretty good!
Sadly I fell sick shortly after a massage.
Rested like 6 hours in the room, lucky I have my boy who went out alone to get me medicine.
Was pretty grumpy because of my sorethroat. It felt like it was on fire.
Finally felt better after popping two panadol extras.
Headed to Com Nieu Sai Gon for dinner
(researched that it is one of the best Viet restaurants in Ho Chi Minh)

Had some lotus tea to soothe throat.
We picked mostly boiled/steamed items because I couldn't eat anything fried ):
Scallop soup cooked with fish maw (: Really good!
Sauteed clams cooked in chilli and garlic.
Who can forget vietnamese spring rolls when your in vietnam? :D
Had some of these rice cakes. It was pretty cool when the manager tossed it in the air
in front of us. Check out my instagram vid of it!
Had some grilled steak as well.
Sauteed cauliflower. Everything tasted great, and guess what, we finished them all.
Lol, gluttons alert.
Headed to the Sky Bar at AB Tower for some chill out drinks and view.
They feature Rnb and lounge music.
Feels a bit like Ku De Ta, the view is amazing tho, and very breezy.
Next day we had breakfast at our hotel,
after which went to find some Banh Mi. (Vietnamese sandwich)
Can you believe the stupid boy went to buy $20 worth of Vietnamese Coffee.
Headed to the HCMC Museum.
It was pretty boring actually. Lol.
Well that's about it. Came back to SG with high fever.
I think the air is just so bad there.
Hopefully I recover quickly to start work again x.x
