Hello guys! I'm here to blog again.
This time, on my recent trip to Macau,
where we were non-stop eating and gambling shopping.
We stayed at one of the big and newest hotels, MGM.
The hotel was awesome! However check-in was rather slow.
Luckily our room came with sea view so that saved the day. Hehe.
Headed to Senado Square to have the famous crab congee and pork buns!
I have always wanted to come to this restaurant called "Wong Chi Kei"
they are famous for their food in Macau.
Restaurant was pretty packed for a non-peak lunch hour,
and they had 3 storeys in their restaurant!
As usual they adopt HK's culture of "Da Tai"
whereby you sit with strangers and eat together.
I loved the crab congee! Tho the boy doesn't like porridge at all.
So I get to eat most of it :D The pork bun is super juicy!
(So hungry as I'm typing this and thinking of the flavours)
After some insane shopping (and squeezing with Chinese tourists) at Sasa
to get my cheap face mask and horse oil cream,
we proceeded to find a popular shark fin soup restaurant recommended by J.
Soup was awesome!
They have all kinds of shark fin in different broths.
Cheapest range from $15, and up to $200 in SGD. Lol.

So behind is the place where we spent the rest of our money time at.
Sad face after our bad luck in the casino. Lol!
Slowly strolled back to our hotel and enjoyed the view. (:
Headed to the bar at MGM where we had some cocktails.
Headed for lunch with a bit of hangover the next day.
Booked lunch at The Tasting Room @ City of Dreams.
Our first time having fine dining in our 1 year+ duration of being together lolol.
I enjoyed the salted butter very much together with different kinds of bread.
They have baguettes and my favourite, focaccia!
Started with appetizer - I believe it was some lobster salad.
Foie gras au auchon with date crumble,
sadly to say I don't like foie gras or any animal intestine-related food,
so the boy is very happy to have 2!
so the boy is very happy to have 2!
Hahaha.
I had the mushroom soup with green pea emulsion.
The other was the lobster soup which
I felt was a little bit better than the average lobster soup. (lol)
Tried the lobster and fish for the seafood course,
in which the lobster was awesome and fish was done very poorly. ):
Pigeon from Racan cooked pink, roots vegetables, onion puree and pistachio.
and this is one of my favourite course for the day,
but I was quite full when this came. Haha
Slow cooked lamb with potato gnocchi, liver sauce.
So fancy lol but he didn't finish it all.
Loved the dessert but I was so full at that point of time
I couldn't really think much anymore.
So this marks the end of our trip.
Till next time!
